Talat Jabin

Talat Jabin is the Head of Firm and a solicitor at Jefferson Clarke. She qualified as a solicitor in 2001 and has more than two decades of experience advising and representing clients.
Her practice centres on immigration, with particular expertise in complex immigration cases. Throughout her career she has advised and represented clients across a broad range of immigration matters, including complex applications and asylum and humanitarian protection work. She has previously held Immigration and Asylum accreditation at Level 2 and Supervisor level, and has acted as a Legal Aid Supervisor for asylum and humanitarian protection work.
Alongside immigration, Talat has built experience across housing law, landlord and tenant matters, family law, debt-related matters, and civil disputes and litigation — which means clients with more than one problem rarely have to start again with someone new.
As Head of Firm she holds the firm’s regulatory roles of Compliance Officer for Legal Practice (COLP) and Compliance Officer for Finance and Administration (COFA). She is also the person who handles any complaint about the firm, so if something ever isn’t right you can ask for her by name.
